Jim started selling cars for his Dad when he was 18, right after his graduation from Waukesha High School (south campus). He took to it like a fish in water! You have to remember, this was the days before the Internet. Customers relied on salespeople for the information they needed. And, Jim knew all about cars and their history. But, that wasn’t all. Jim found he loved EVERY aspect of the car business: the staff…the products…the activity…and, especially…the customer. If Jim were to sum up the secret of his success, he’d say he “just likes and understands people”. It’s as simple as that. He also likes boating, fishing and golf…when he finds the time. You see, Jim is never one to shy away from hard work. In fact, you’ll find him at the store most days and into the night. Jim devoted 25 years to serving as Chairman of the Wisconsin’s Ford Dealer Ad Board. He’s involved in his own advertising as well. You may recognize him from his TV ads, as many folks do. Outside of the office, he hears, “THAT would be Jim Griffin” quite often. Next time you spot him, be sure to point that out!

Loren Sweeney is the General Manager here at Griffin Ford and is responsible for the day to
day operations at the dealership. He began his career in the Automotive industry here at Griffin
back in 1993 as a Pre-Owned Sales Professional. Since then he has held several positions in
the industry such as New Vehicle Sales Manager and Pre-Owned Vehicle Manager. Over the
years his strengths have contributed to building a successful team that has translated to
thousands of happy customers! In his off time Loren enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time
with his family.

I began my journey in the automotive industry in 2014 as a sales associate. It was not long until
the industry had me hooked and I began my journey into management. I still enjoy helping our
customers find the perfect vehicle and going on the adventure with them to find their next set of
wheels. Cars are a thing I have always been passionate about. I grew up around them and
worked on them regularly. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a
wife, a son, and 2 dogs. We enjoy working out, traveling, riding the Harley and mopeds, or doing
anything outdoors. Also in my free time, I own and operate a fishing lure company, Monsters

Jason joined Griffin Ford in August, 2022 first as a Pre-owned Consultant and is now the Pre-
owned Manager. He’s been in the car industry since 2005. Jason’s always been a big car
enthusiast. When he’s not at work, he enjoys playing poker and watching sports

Born in Waukesha, Alex has worked many different sides of the business here at Griffin Ford.
He started by cleaning cars as a teenager and assisting customers in the service department.
Throughout college, he worked in new and used car sales. Not long after graduating from the
University of Minnesota, he began buying cars to keep our pre-owned inventory stocked. If you

I started with Griffin Ford in late 2020. Really enjoy working for the Griffin Automotive Group.
I’ve been a Finance Manager for the better part of a decade. Been in the car industry for
20+years. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my wife, three daughters and three
dogs.

Mellisa Johnson brings over 15 years of invaluable experience to her role as Finance Manager at Griffin Ford. With her extensive expertise in finance and a deep understanding of the automotive industry, Mellisa ensures that every customer receives personalized and comprehensive financial solutions tailored to their needs.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Mellisa has a passion for dogs and enjoys spending time hanging out on the east side. Whether she’s exploring new places or simply enjoying the company of her furry friends, Mellisa brings her vibrant energy and enthusiasm to everything she does.

With her dedication to excellence and her love for both her work and her community, Mellisa Johnson continues to make a positive impact both in and out of the dealership.

I’ve been in the car business since 1983 and enjoy it every day. In my free time I like to play golf
and tennis, and Packers, Bucks, and Brewer games.

Ken Teramura brings 27 years of expertise in the automotive industry to his role as Finance Manager, with a rich background that spans across various facets of finance and automotive sales management.

Ken is not only a seasoned finance professional but also a local musician who has performed at numerous venues including Summerfest and State Fair with his wife Jessica over the years. His passion for music reflects his creativity and commitment to excellence, qualities that he brings to his role in finance.

When he’s not working or performing on stage, Ken and his wife Jessica enjoy RVing with their 9 rescue dogs. Ken is involved association with the “This Time Tomorrow” foundation and engaging with the local community. His diverse interests and experiences contribute to a well-rounded perspective that enriches his professional role.

I began my career in the Automotive industry in 2011 as a quick lane advisor. Since then, I have worked my way up the ranks to reach the position of Assistant Service Manager here at Griffin Ford, a position I’ve held since 2021. My goal is to provide customers with a fast, easy and enjoyable service experience. I enjoy learning about new technology in vehicles and being able to pass that knowledge along to our customers. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, tinkering with cars and watching sports.
